  • Live at Sydney Blues & Roots Festival (2014)

    Recorded Live @ Sydney Blues & Roots Festival, Windsor NSW 26 October 2014. Classic Hey Gringo delivered a dynamic performance in sweltering 40°C heat for an enthusiastic and appreciative audience. The event was expertly captured by Digital Deeds Media using high-quality four-camera vision and superb audio. The setlist included irresistibly powerful covers of classics from ZZ Top, Tom Waits, and Lowell Fulson, further enhancing the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.

  • Live from the Vault (2006)

    Recorded at Soundvault headquarters in 2006 and released in 2007, this album captures a vibrant live performance featuring special guests from the Australian music scene. The lineup includes Mike Rudd, Bill Putt, and Peter Robbo Robertson from the iconic progressive rock band SPECTRUM, along with Neale Johns of Blackfeather on vocals and Marcus Alexander from the Nudist Funk Orchestra contributing on bongos and vocals.

  • Three (2005)

    Another co-produced album recorded at Nicky Bomba's Noahs Ark Studios showcases an impressive array of guest contributions, including artists like Ross Wilson, Mike Rudd, Spectrum, Kevin Borich, and Lil Fi. Regular Gringo members contributing to the album include Paul Gadsby on guitar and vocals, Brian Strafford on guitars and saxophone, Sean Vagg on saxophone, Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, and Les Oldman on drums, all coming together to create a diverse and engaging musical experience.

  • Funky Car (2003)

    This album taking Hey Gringo a step further with contributions by both Paul Gadsby & Les Oldman joining Daryl Roberts and the gringo experience enhanced by guest appearances by Australian legendary artists Mike Rudd & Bill Putt from Spectrum on guitar, vocals and slide guitar, Broderick Smith from Dingoes on vocals & harmonica along with the co-written song by Roberts & Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool/Mondo Rock) “Old Country Road” which Wilson sings. Nicky Bomba engineered and played percussion along with Ian Russo, David Williamson & Laurie Bongalais on horns. Plenty of excursions into quirky, funky blues & roots with soul.

  • I Was There (2000)

    The debut album culmination of years of songwriting and performing in various incarnations, Daryl Roberts finally gets the essence of the FunKy fun, tongue in cheek Hey Gringo sound down, recorded and co-produced by the lively indefatigable Nicky Bomba, also on drums and joined by Paul Gadsby on guitar & bass, Ross Hannaford on guitar, David Williamson on sax and Roberts on keyboards, harmonica, guitar, accordion and vocals.
